Black Treat® has the strength to control Swimming Pool Black Algae
Black Treat® is an EPA registered patented Algaecide designed specifically for black swimming pool algae. This powerful formula can deter black algae growth in any type of swimming pool.
A lesser known fact of black algae is that it can never be "cured"; black algae releases spores that can remain dormant on the surface of your pool for years - it can even survive things like acid washing the surface directly. While spores aren’t visible - this means your pool will be susceptible to black algae growth. On top of this, Black Algae growth is difficult to eradicate.
Luckily, Black Treat® is specifically formulated to eradicate outbreaks of swimming pool black algae in one easy to administer dose; simply add one bottle per 20,000 gallons and follow the recommendations on the bottle for super chlorination.
Quick Specs- Use: Algaecide; eradicate blooms of black swimming pool algae
- Compatible with: Pools treated with chlorine (including salt generators) and bromine
- Chemical Type: Granular
- Available Packaging: 3 lbs. bottle
- Dosage Rate: 3 lbs. per 20,000 gallons
Q: How does Black Treat® kill black algae?
A: Black Treat®'s patented formula is a powerful algaecide that works in conjunction with super chlorination. Black Treat® accelerates chlorine's ability to kill algae by turning it into its strongest (oxidizing) state to burn through the algae in one powerful shot.
Q: Does Black Treat® work in any type of pool?
A: Yes. Black Treat® works universally in pools treated with chlorine and bromine (including salt pools/chlorine generators).
Q: What advantages does Black Treat® offer over other types of algaecides?
A: In a word- results. Black Treat® is trusted by pool professionals because it gets the job done on the first try using less chemical - and does it without creating more problems.
Metal-Based (such as silver) algaecides do work - but create more problems to deal with: metal-based algaecides can cause significant staining.
Black Treat® works better without causing additional issues to deal with. This means less time fighting algae and other problems, while leaving you with more money in your pocket.
Please note: Never premix Yellow Out with chlorine or any other chemicals. Add Yellow Out to the pool, wait five minutes and add chlorine to the pool.
Pink Treat® kills Pink Algae & Bacteria to keep your pool clean and clear
Pink Treat® is an EPA-registered patented algaecide that is specifically designed to kill Pink Algae and bacteria in any type of swimming pool.
A lesser known fact about Pink Algae is that it is actually a type of bacteria that grows in swimming pools. Pink Treat is specifically formulated to eliminate the presence of these kinds of bacteria to leave your pool crystal clear and safe to swim in.
Pink Treat® is very easy to use: simply add one bottle per 20,000 gallons and superchlorinate to wipe out any presence of Pink Algae/bacteria in your pool.
Quick Specs- Use: Algaecide; eradicate blooms of Pink Algae/White Water Mold (bacteria) in swimming pools
- Compatible with: Pools treated with chlorine (including salt generators) and bromine
- Chemical Type: Granular
- Available Packaging: 2 lbs. bottle
- Dosage Rate: 2 lbs. per 20,000 gallons

A: Yes. Pink Treat® works universally in pools treated with chlorine and bromine (including salt pools/chlorine generators).
Q: What advantages does Pink Treat® offer over other types of algaecides?
A: Pink Treat® is unique in that it is specifically formulated for bacteria (a.k.a. pink algae/white water mold). This powerful formula gets the job done on the first try without creating further problems.
Ammonia and Metal-Based algaecides will work on bacteria- but create more problems to deal with: Ammonia creates chloramines requiring more shocking, and metal-based algaecides can cause significant staining.
Pink Treat® works better without causing additional issues to deal with. This means less time fighting algae and other problems, while leaving you with more money in your pocket.

PHOSfree does not "kill" algae. It is a preventative maintenance product. If algae is already present in your pool we recommend first treating pool with an algaecide or shock. Balance water chemistry, then ask dealer to analyze your pool water for accurate phosphate levels.
